where is the correct SATA port to conect a master hard drive on a ASUS M4A79XTD EVO AM3 AMD 790X ATX AMD Mothe?
i just had a wd caviar blue fail on me and i wonder if its because i conceted it wrong... the computer worked but i was still having issues until it finaly faild so im just looking for any help here is a link

if you could look at the pics and tell me which SATA port is correct for a master hd that would be extreemly helpfull...
there are like 7 on the mobo and idk which is correct this is my first build so cut me a lil slack
SATA doesn't do the slave/master thing like IDE...you can plus a SATA drive into any of the multiple SATA ports on your mobo and it will work as long as it is bootable.
If the drive does not work plugged into any SATA then either there is a a problem with the drive (likely) or maybe you don't have it connected correctly?
