Can Baseball Catchers Helmets be one size fits all?
My boyfriend has a huge head, his hat size is 7 3/8, and i want to buy him a new catchers helmet for his birthday and the one im buying online at champs doesn't have any sizes to choose from. Should I buy it since its the least draining of the little money i have and hope it fits his boulder head or do i buy the much more expensive one?
7 3/8 is not really that big, its pretty common actually. I used to work in a hat store and the most common sizes for fitted hats were 7 1/4 and 7 3/8. Your Boyfriend is on the big side of average, but its still average.
Don't buy him a catcher's helmet. Even if you could be certain that you were getting the right size, you probably won't end up picking the one he really wants. Give him the money toward a new helmet and let him pick out the one he wants. A helmet is one of those things that comes down to personal preference so he needs to make the final decision himself.
