Paintball laws for Ohio? Is it a paintball gun considered a firearm? Is it illegal to make a paintball silencer?

I need help finding information on legislation relating Paintball Ohio. Is it illegal to make a silencer (handmade) for your gun Paintball? Is it a gun Paintball considered a firearm in Ohio? Where can you legally take? What are the consequences for related actions, as someone accidentally shooting which does not someone's property or harming? Any help will be greatly appreciated !!!!!

The laws are the same / similar in most states it is illegal to make a silencer or even buy one, unless you go through a lengthy process that involves $ 200 fee, revenue stamps, having the product certified by the Govt. etc. It's not worth it, so it is rare to see them, and it is a federal crime if you make / own / use / possession / sale without a proper procedure, do not risk it. Paintguns are not considered firearms, but any damage you do to another person or property of one is an offense or arrest- degree of aggression or criminal wrongdoing. Basically, Do not screw around with the marker and shoot anyone or anything that you know you should do if you hit someone in the face, you can easily blind them for life, so play safe! Legally, if you're on your own field authorized the private ownership or a paintball field, you're OK. Again, for safety, before playing on a field not sure that everyone has good protection (masks / goggles, etc.) and chronograph all weapons to no more than 300fps, 285 is better. A chronograph laptop is about 60 $, Which is cheaper than the hospital bill, so be one.
