I need help with the juxtoposition of Toulouse Lautrec and Van Gogh paintings.?
I know Toulouse Lautrec is well known for his paintings on Moulin rouge and the can-can. Is there any Van gogh painings which I can relate it with?
Although they knew each other their choice of subject matter was completely different. The main paintings of Vincent's with people in them were portraits. When he decided to depict the seamier side of society he painted the inside of a pool hall/pub rather than a cabaret show. Check out this one...
